Delivery & Returns


General information

To purchase items from the michellehouse.co.uk website, customers must have a valid bank account with either a valid credit/debit card or a valid PayPal account and be an individual not a business.

We do not deliver to BFPO addresses, hotels, temporary addresses or PO boxes.

There is a minimum order of £15 from the shop.

All prints are made to order and I will endeavour to ship your order as soon as possible. During the Xmas period, delivery may take a little longer. You will receive a notification by email telling you when your order has been shipped. For large value orders your parcel will need a signature on delivery, please ensure you are going to be in to receive the delivery. When a parcel is sent using the tracking service (generally prints unless hand-delivered), a tracking number will be on your shipping notification email.

Packaging is recyclable where possible and the cellophane on the cards is biodegradable. I try to recycle packaging and avoid plastic wherever possible.

UK Addresses

I offer free shipping for the UK from my store (deliveries to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man can be delayed by customs). You will normally receive your order within 5-10 working days. Please see the ‘Terms and Conditions of Sale’ on the ‘Terms and Conditions’ page for more information on payments and delivery times. Minimum order £10.

I use Royal Mail either 1st class, 1st class ‘Signed for’, tracked or Special Delivery depending on the value. Other couriers I may use include DHL, DPD, UPS and Parcelforce.

EU and Europe

At this current time I do not have the EU and Europe as shipping options. However, if you would like to buy something from my store, please do get in touch and I will find out the delivery cost for you. Thank you for your understanding.

Rest of the World

Currently there are no delivery options on this website for the rest of the world. This will hopefully change in the near future.
If you require delivery to a different country please contact me by email at mail@michellehouse.co.uk and I will do my best to arrange it for you.

Taxes and customs

Please note if your parcel is going outside the UK, there may be import taxes and customs duties to pay. Michellehouse.co.uk does not pay these, so you are responsible for any payment that needs to be made. Please contact your local Customs and Excise office for information on costs.

International orders may be inspected at the border controls which can cause a delay in delivery. Delays at customs can also affect the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man

Returns

Damages – I really hope that you are happy with your order. I take great care to ensure that all items are in perfect condition when they are dispatched, however in the unlikely event that they reach you in a damaged condition, please get in touch with me at mail@michellehouse.co.uk within 7 days to let me know. Please ensure that you inspect your order immediately on receipt.

If your Goods are damaged or faulty they can be returned to me at the address provided to you on your receipt and order within 28 days of delivery. You are entitled to a full refund including delivery and postage costs for damaged or faulty Goods only. Please retain a Certificate of Postage from the Post Office as proof of postage and the tracking number if using a tracking service and follow the returns procedure at the bottom of this page.

Cancellation – If you are not happy with your items, you are entitled to an exchange or refund. Please let me know at mail@michellehouse.co.uk within 7 days so I know you will be returning the items. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the Goods and are responsible for ensuring that they reach me in perfect condition. Please send the Goods back to me as soon as possible and no later that 14 days after you inform me of your cancellation to Michelle House at the address provided to you on your receipt and order.

Please retain a Certificate of Postage from the Post Office as proof of postage, and the tracking number if using a tracking service.

You are responsible for any damage to the Goods whilst in your possession.

Returns Procedure

When returning items, please ensure that:

a) The Goods are returned in the original packaging (if it’s not damaged) or otherwise sufficiently packaged and labelled correctly to Michelle House at the address provided to you on your receipt and order.

b) You include your name, address and order number inside the package.

c) That the Goods are unused and in perfect condition when returning to me.

d) You obtain and retain a Certificate of Postage as proof of posting from the Post Office and ensure that the Goods are sufficiently insured for the return journey to me.
