This pink, plum and yellow abstract collage, was made by Michelle using a combination of hand-printed wool, linen and paper, textured papers and graphite and pencil on paper.

Collage is a method of working that Michelle has always enjoyed and has a natural affinity with. Working with collage gives Michelle the freedom to experiment with colour, shape and texture in a more immediate way, a type of drawing and recording which feeds into her larger one-off textile artworks.
